Make your own Maps:

Click on My Maps > Create New Mapand start making your own personal maps to which you can add text, images, drawings, and even videos and publish to anyone you’sd like. Whether you are at home and giving directions to a friend or are a small business guiding people to your office, it’s another fun feature you should explore on your phone. Depending on your location, you can create personalised, annotated and customised maps containing place-markers, lines, shapes and then add useful web links or embed photos to add value. From the menu itself choose to make your Map public or accessible only through a unique URL for private use.

Favourite places:

You can add a Star onlocations you often visit and oookmarkthem for easy access or even new places youliked and want to note for the future. Just click on the Start icon next to the address and then next time using Menu you can easly open these Starred items and have a list of your favourite locations right in front of you, saving time and effort. If you use Google Maps on the web, you can quickly sign into your account from here and synchronize the starred items on your phone and on the net. Simply click on the Star next to the name in Starred Items to remove it from your list.
