Multiple accounts:

On devices with Eclair and above, you ca link multiple accounts. Open the Email application, and enter your login credentials to set up your first account, go to Menu > Accounts > Menu > Add account. Enter the credentials for this second account following the instructions used during the first account. You can switch between both inboxes by pressing the menu button, selecting account you want to check your mail for.
Mute conversations:
If you have long running threads you don’t want to follows, you can conveniently mute conversations. To do this, go to Menu > More > Mute.

If you want to view only important email on your smartphone, or email to a specific label or account, place that label or account on your home screen for imediate access to your prority mails. you can select this by tapping and holding your finger on the Home Screen. Go to Shortcuts > Email.
